The CNN-YouTube sponsored debate among Democratic presidential candidates underscored the arrival of the Internet as an unprecedented force in politics.

Citizens used their media -- CNN's Anderson Cooper gleaned 3000 questions that were submitted -- to challenge the candidates to break away from their campaign rhetoric.

And there were staged and unpredicatable YouTube moments, too. See the YouTube questions at www.youtube/debates</video:description>

Another one of my <a href="http://www.roblimo.com/node/category/videos/village-of-the-arts/">Village of the Arts videos</a>, one I only had to walk around the corner to make, because Karen's private gallery (and famous jam-party location) is on 15th Ave. W near 11th St. W, and we live at the corner of 16th Ave.W and 11th St. W. Karen is one of the reasons we moved to the Village of the Arts, truly a great neighbor.

This was shot with a handheld $300 single-CCD consumer camcorder using its internal microphone. It's kind of a "how low can you go?" production experiment. (I usually shoot with a Sony A1U HDV ENG video camera and *at least* a good shotgun mic.)</video:description>

Yo! "Building community" isn't only about hard news and politics and activism. Some of it is about coming together and having fun.

This video was shot (in terrible light) at the Exquisite Exhibit, an outdoor gallery in the middle of the <a href="http://www.artistsguildofmanatee.org/">Village of the Arts</a> in Bradenton, Florida.

I've been doing a series of videos about the Village and the people who live and work here. Locals love these videos and pass them around like mad.

Airbags is a very short (3 minute) film that examines how things that are designed to improve the quality of life for some people may have the opposite effect on others. Set in a small town streetcorner in rural America, two men, one an experienced veteran and the other an impatient rookie endure the negative effect of something that we all consider to have improved our lives, the airbag.</video:description>

Here is what is on Indymedia Presents #203:

This show features the Mohawk IMC's piece, "Independent Media in a Time of War." As Bush's poll ratings plummet and support for the war crumbles, it occurs to us that there are a lot of Americans out there who are wondering "how they could have fallen for the lies?" What went wrong to make them believe there were weapons of mass destruction or that Iraq was responsible for 9/11? Americans are wondering, how did I ever believe in this Administration? With that in mind, we are revisiting this classic piece featuring Amy Goodman, which examines the role of the media in bamboozling the American public. This piece came out early in the Iraq war, but, now we are 3 years into the war and it is time to revisit it.

There are real answers to the question,"how did we get tricked?"

Pubic Access producers, community screeners, and IMCs are encouraged to screen or air "Indymedia Presents."

An intriguing interview with the producer, director of the award-winning movie, What The Bleep Do We Know? In this episode, William Arntz discusses the ways in which new ideas in science and quantum physics, and many long-held beliefs behind spirituality and religion are now merging, and how that converging of new science with age-old beliefs, would inspire producer, director, William Arntz to co-create the films,"What The Bleep Do We Know!? and "What The Bleep!? runtime 3.13 The Canal du Midi or Canal des Deux Mers is a 240 km long canal in the south (le Midi) of France. The canal connects the Garonne River to the &#201;tang de Thau on the Mediterranean. The canal runs from the city of Toulouse down to the Mediterranean port of S&#232;te (which was founded to serve as the eastern terminus of the Canal.)Citizen journalismCitizen video reporting dates back as early as the development of camcorders, but all videos were screened by the local media outlets of the time, until its spread has been aided by free upload websites in which censorship is limited to make a vast amount of videos available to anyone who wants it. Scenes rarely broadcast on television, and many first-witnessed scenes have since become publicly available.</video:description>
